The Panel - made up of representatives from local Voluntary Organisations, Public Bodies, local business people and interested individual members of the public - is committed to:
- The generation & implementation of Crime Prevention / Community Safety Initiatives
- The promotion and fostering of safety & well-being in the community in partnership with other agencies and organisations
- Alerting the community to types of crime prominent in the area and advising on lawful preventative measures
- Providing information and advice on Community Safety & Crime Prevention
- Establishing and nurturing positive communication between the generations - based on understanding and mutual respect
